Turn LinkedIn job alerts into a Notion job tracker

Serious job searches end up in a spreadsheet or a Notion board — role, company, status, next step. The feeding of that board is the tedious part: LinkedIn emails you alerts, you open each one, and copy roles over by hand (or worse, lose them in the inbox).

Auto-forward LinkedIn's job alert emails (from jobalerts-noreply@linkedin.com) to a Quicktion address connected to your job-search database. Each alert becomes a page with every listed role and its link preserved as clickable Notion blocks. Add a status property with a default of "To review" and your pipeline's top-of-funnel fills itself — you just triage.

Set it up once

1

Connect Notion

Sign up free, connect your workspace and pick your job tracker database. Set a default Status so new pages land in the right column.

2

Auto-forward job alerts

Create a filter for from:(jobalerts-noreply@linkedin.com) forwarding to your Quicktion address. Indeed and Glassdoor alerts can join through their own filters.

3

Triage in Notion, not the inbox

Review the day's roles on your board, drag the good ones to "Applying", archive the rest. The inbox stays clean.
