Log Shopify orders in Google Sheets automatically
Shopify emails you a notification for every new order, and that email already contains everything a fulfillment log needs: order number, customer, items and total. Most stores either pay for a Zapier plan to get this into a spreadsheet or export CSVs by hand every week.
A forwarding rule does the same job. Auto-forward Shopify's order notifications to your Quicktion address and each order becomes a row the moment it's placed — date and subject in columns, the full order details in the body column, links still clickable. Pro's AI extraction can pull the order number, customer name and total into their own columns so the sheet pivots cleanly.
What lands in your spreadsheet
| From the email | Into your spreadsheet |
|---|---|
| Subject ("Order #1234 placed") | Title column |
| Order date | Date column, store timezone respected |
| Order details from the body | Body column |
| Order #, customer, total (AI, Pro) | Dedicated columns you define |
Rows marked (AI, Pro) use AI Email Intelligence, available on the Pro plan. Standard mapping — subject, sender, date, body, attachments — is included free.
